Robbie Blaine: American Pop Star

Description: These three students were looking for a way to comment on the current state of affairs in the pop music industry. Deciding on satire, they created a fictional pop star and made a VH1-style documentary about his life. The project was done in Macromedia Flash, blending photography, video, and 2D animation. It also includes two original Robbie Blaine songs.

Description: When Prof. Hauber gave her sculpture students a direct plaster/carving project to do, these two students hated their results. So much, in fact, that they felt compelled to make a film depicting the violent destruction of the offending piece.
